Here is my menu for this weekend:
1. Penne with Spinach, Gorgonzola, and Walnuts ($12 serves 1; $20 serves 2)
Penne pasta with a delicious combination of the sweetness of fresh pears and the unique flavor of gorgonzola cheese, topped with roasted chopped walnuts and slices of Prosciutto. (specific if you want vegetarian option)
2. Café au Lait Crème Brûlée ($5)
This week’s Crème Brûlée, with its delicious rich custard base and light crust of caramel top, is flavored with Illy espresso coffee.
3. Tahini Oatmeal Date Cookies ($2.50)
This week’s special cookies are the cooler cousin to oatmeal raisin cookies. These are thick, fluffy, and super delicious.
4. Almond tart with pears ($5)
This crustless almond tart is amazing and bursting with flavor from the fresh pears from my friend’s tree! Gluten free and sweetened with honey.
5. Back-up Cookies ($2.50)
Back-up cookies this week include: Lindt Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Roasted Peanut Peanut Butter Cookies, or Mixed Nuts Almond Butter Cookies.
